Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Day 2: Ranveer Singh Film Crosses ₹200 Crore, Heads Towards ₹250 Crore
Dhurandhar 2 crosses ₹200 crore on Day 2 despite drop, Ranveer Singh film continues strong box office performance worldwide.
After a record-breaking opening, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge starring Ranveer Singh continues its dream run at the box office. The film has crossed the ₹200 crore mark within just two days of release, establishing itself as one of the fastest-grossing Hindi films in recent times.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film released on March 19 and is already setting new benchmarks.
Strong Day 2 Collection Despite Drop
On its second day, the film earned ₹80.72 crore, showing a slight drop from its massive opening day collection of ₹102.55 crore.
The dip of around 21% is considered normal after a huge opening, and the overall performance remains extremely strong.
Hindi Version Leads the Charge
The Hindi version continues to dominate collections, contributing ₹78.94 crore on Day 2.
It recorded an impressive occupancy of around 64.3% across more than 19,000 shows, indicating strong audience interest.

Regional Versions Show Limited Impact
Compared to the Hindi version, regional language performance remained modest.
- Telugu: ₹1.30 crore
- Tamil: ₹0.44 crore
- Kannada: ₹0.03 crore
- Malayalam: ₹0.01 crore
These figures show that the film’s primary strength lies in the Hindi belt.
Total Occupancy Remains Strong
The overall theatre occupancy on Friday stood at approximately 62.6%.
Given the scale of release and number of shows, this is considered a strong performance for a big-budget film.
Crosses ₹200 Crore in Just Two Days
The film quickly crossed the ₹200 crore mark, with total net collections reaching around ₹226.27 crore.
Its total gross collections currently stand at approximately ₹269.39 crore worldwide.
Beats Lifetime Collections of Several Films
In just two days, Dhurandhar 2 has already surpassed the lifetime collections of several recent films.
It has gone ahead of movies like Fighter, which had a lifetime net of around ₹212 crore.
Surpasses Other Recent Releases
The film also crossed the lifetime earnings of films like Sikandar and The Raja Saab within hours of release.
This highlights the scale of its box office dominance.
Now Targets War Benchmark
Currently, the film is chasing the benchmark set by War, which had a net collection of ₹236 crore.
If the momentum continues, it could surpass this figure very soon.
Massive Global Opening
Globally, the film opened with a huge ₹236.63 crore on Day 1.
Out of this:
- India net: ₹145.55 crore
- India gross: ₹172.63 crore
- Overseas: ₹64 crore
These numbers underline its international appeal.
₹250 Crore Target Within Reach
With strong weekend momentum, the film is expected to cross ₹250 crore domestically by Saturday.
Trade analysts believe the film could continue its record-breaking run if positive word-of-mouth sustains.
