BJP Confirms the News
The Delhi BJP officially confirmed the veteran leader’s passing. “With deep sorrow, we inform you that senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party and the first president of Delhi BJP, Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra, passed away this morning,” Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said in a statement.
Hospitalised at AIIMS
According to party officials, Malhotra had been undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Delhi, for the last few days. Despite efforts by doctors, his health deteriorated, and he breathed his last on Tuesday morning.

Final Journey Details
The BJP announced that Malhotra’s mortal remains would be brought to his official residence at 21 Gurdwara Rakabganj Road on Tuesday morning at 8:45 a.m. to allow supporters, colleagues, and citizens to pay their last respects.
