UGC NET June 2026: Examination Dates & Timings

The national-level exam is scheduled to run from June 22 to June 30, 2026, conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple centers. The exam will take place in two shifts daily:

• Shift I: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM

• Shift II: 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM

The test comprises a single continuous 3-hour session with no breaks between Paper 1 (General Teaching & Research Aptitude) and Paper 2 (Subject-specific).

3. Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and the displayed Security Pin.

4. Click submit, view your admit card, and download the PDF copy.

Crucial Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates are strictly advised to cross-check their Name, Roll Number, Exam Centre Address, and Shift Timings immediately upon downloading. On the day of the exam, it is mandatory to bring a printed copy of the admit card, a valid government-issued photo ID (such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID), a recent passport-sized photograph, and the downloaded undertaking form.
